Buzzed down from Anacortes to Everett yesterday. Seas were a little rough in the early morning. Fortunately, Neptune did me a solid by rewarding me with flat calm water and friendly tides for the long tow from Everett to Orcas Island. My tow was this fixer-upper 1976 Choy Lee trawler seen here under the Deception Pass bridge. All day at 6 to 8 knots with nothing more than fresh air and my thoughts made me miss sailing aboard Juliet quite a bit.
